SUZANNE GONSALEZ holds degrees in photography from the University of New Mexico and the University of Kentucky.  She focuses her work on creating iconographic images of women that are both compelling and powerful. Her work has also been published in The Photo Review, a critical journal of national and international photography.  Ms. Gonsalez is a 2007 Grant Finalist from the Ultimate Eye Foundation for Figurative and Digital Photography. She is also a 2003 and a 2005 recipient of the Artist Enrichment Grant from the Kentucky Foundation for Women. She is exhibited nationally and has won awards in the state of New York.  She has currently had her work included in exhibitions at Center for Fine Art Photography, Chautauqua Center for the Visual Arts, San Diego Art Institute, Peninsula Fine Arts Center, Cambridge Art Association and Gallery International to name a few.  She currently lives and teaches art in Lexington Kentucky.
